On January 20th, 2025 President Trump signed an Executive Order on the death penalty, directing the attorney general to- "take all necessary and lawful action" to ensure that states have enough lethal injection drugs to carry out executions. We believe this is a response to our hard work that ultimately influenced former President Biden to commute 37 lives on the Federal death row to life in prison before the end of his term.
